Built by a Veteran, Run Like One
In 2007, while deployed as an army infantryman in Baghdad, I took a payphone call from my mother that stuck with me forever. She was distressed and being taken advantage of by a big franchise moving company. They were charging her for the time to transfer her belongings out of their broken truck and into a working one. Sitting thousands of miles away in a warzone, I was completely helpless to step in and fix it. That unfairness exposed a massive problem in the moving industry: a desperate lack of empathy, transparency, and simple human respect.

After returning from Iraq, I finished college and took a stable job in accounting. It was a solid career, but something was missing. I realized my true passion wasn’t sitting behind a spreadsheet it was serving people. The memory of my mother’s experience kept pulling me back. I wanted to serve my community again, not in uniform overseas, but on the ground right here as a trusted business owner in Denver.
